ASCENT and TREP Information

 What is ASCENT? 

ASCENT stands for Accelerating Students through Concurrent Enrollment It is a 5th Year scholarship program that allows eligible seniors to remain enrolled at the high school and take a fifth year consisting entirely of college classes at one of our ASCENT partner colleges. The scholarship covers the tuition cost for 12-18 credits plus student fees. Students are responsible for books, materials, transportation and living expenses.

 What is TREP? 

TREP stands for Teacher Recruitment Education and Preparation program. 

It is a two year program that allows eligible seniors to remain enrolled at the high school and take a fifth and sixth year consisting entirely of college classes. The cost of 12-18 credits of tuition is covered by the school district.
