Do you want an exciting career in a fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping environment? Do you have an interest in helping people in a heathcare setting? Would you enjoy being an active and respected part of your community? Are you interested in a career where you know you will make a difference in someone’s life?

The Emergency Medical Services program can be your foundation for a rewarding career in this fast-growing field. An Emergency Medical Responder or an Emergency Medical Technician is often the first face a person in a medical crisis sees. They assess the nature and extent of the person’s injuries or illness, provide the appropriate emergency care, and determine problems, control bleeding, treat shock and a myriad of other procedures in an attempt to stabilize the patient both on the scene and during transport to a medical facility. After beginning their career in this demanding field, some EMTs move on to become Paramedics or Physician Assistants. Many people also work as EMTs as a first step into a healthcare career such as nursing or becoming a physician. Classes are offered in a state-of-the-art learning facility where students mast required emergency skills. This program prepares students for the National Registry of EMTs Certification exam.
